Scot Eberle brings 40 years of business experience, including extensive success in the telecommunications arena, to his role of CEO of FG. A tested leader of successful teams, Mr. Eberle has held a variety of executive level positions within the communications industry with MCI Communications, McLeodUSA, 3M and Lanier. Mr. Eberle has served on the Board of Directors and as Co-Chairman for leading technology organizations and endeavors. He is routinely retained as an expert in the field of emerging technology, with television presentations and other public appearances dealing with the future of technology.
Steve Knapp, CPA, CGMA, is a seasoned business leader with over 40 years of experience in business management, financial analysis, operations and taxes. Steve has a unique ability to manage through the change, helping companies maximize value and stability through resource development and strategic problem-solving skills. Established in 2004, Steve is a founding member of FG and today serves as President and CFO. Prior to FG, Mr. Knapp worked in Private Wealth Management, managing investments, small business development, private foundations and estate assets.
Collin Summers is an executive who understands how to use technology to help an organization meet its mission, vision, and business goals. Mr. Summers successfully integrated existing enterprise systems and human talent into new information technology platforms and processes. Mr. Summers is experienced in a diverse range of industries in a wide range of international settings. He is the driver of IT innovation and optimization throughout complex organizations.
Kent Van Metre is a communications professional with more than 35 years of management experience in the communications industry spanning the wireless, data, CLEC, interconnect and cable television sectors. Mr. Van Metre’s marketing experience includes positions as Director of Marketing for the Western United States for Sprint Cellular and as Director of Marketing for advanced telecommunications services for McLeodUSA. Mr. Van Metre served as Iowa General Manager for Sprint and for Inter-Tel Technologies, GM and Director of Market Operations for Ohio and 360° Com and as Vice President and General Manager for McLeodUSA.
Gerald Horst has been providing information technology and communications infrastructure expertise for more than 35 years. He had broad experience in deploying and managing telecom operational support systems (OSS), business support systems (BSS), and outside plant GIS engineering systems. As one of the key operational partners, Mr. Horst manages numerous facets of network design, management and operations at FG including outside plant, NOC and network architecture services.
Rob Smith has more than 40 years of entrepreneurial, marketing and business operations experience in the telecommunications and information technology industries. Mr. Smith’s experience includes management and operations in local telephone service, long distance telephone service, cable television and telephone directory publishing. Prior to employment at FG, Mr. Smith served as chief operational office of a quadruple play, independent local exchange carrier.
Bill Randolph is a business professional with an entrepreneurial mindset experienced in financial modeling, process improvement, resource management, and business analytics. Mr. Randolph utilizes strategic analysis and critical thinking skills to make informed company decisions and reliable financial planning. Mr. Randolph has managed multiple accounting, payroll, and human resource teams in the manufacturing and service industries, while developing best business practices to support company growth and improve efficiency.
Jensen Tyler is an 18 year veteran at FG. Mr. Tyler is responsible for Infrastructure & Security at FG. Mr. Tyler has experience covering a range of various network technologies and topologies including MPLS, BGP, Data Center fabrics, Firewall/IPS, DWDM and Broadband Networks. Mr. Tyler also is experienced in a wide range of software systems including endpoint and network management, network automation and analytics.
Jason Swain is a telecom and technology sales leader with over 40 years of experience. Mr. Swain's unique approach to helping clients is heightened by his understanding of technology. Mr. Swain's positions have included his own entrepreneurial efforts along with positions of Call Center Manager, Epic Analyst, Finance Manager, Senior Marketing Manager, Regional Sales Manager, and Sales Director. Having worked for GTE, Verizon, Comcast, Frontier, Spectrum, and Brightspeed, Mr. Swain understands a plethora of the challenges clients face in the market.
